I think it comes implied for Libretro cores (within RetroArch). So that would be another reason to pursue that goal
Sure, it would be great to have that, but it's a quite a lot of work... and free time is scarce. So, if you're really into it and have some free time, please make an attempt. We'll support you as much as we can.
You are addressing me? Thanks, but not going to see that happen (any time soon anyway)
Best bet seems to bump that thread perhaps, or the bounty route.
If you want it to happen, find people who want to help out. That's what I meant
I would like to be able to filter machines by type in catapult - MSX, MSX2 etc
With 100% working machine BIOS installed I have to search to find out what type of machine it is before using it.
A compressed navigation inside zip files like Bluemsx does
This is the feature that I really miss from Bluemsx.
Why?
1.- I can choose separate disks whenever I want (for example I would like to change userdisks or specific disks)
2.- I can include pdf/txt/png/etc in the same file (great for preservation) without interfering with openMSX
* Also a feature that would very welcome would be being able to write a temp dsk file with changes on disks and re-add it to the main zip
And like a fantastic feature would be nice a png preview when opening the file
Thanks

The Python catapult does this. Well, not exactly filter, but you can sort by type.
What about Folder as HDD, like the already implemented Folder as FDD feature? It should be great.

The issue you filed for this is still open, alas. It's a great idea of course, but not that easy to add in a few hours...
