In the article which describes the disc drive replacement of the Sony HB-F1XD(J) photos from the article of the Philips NMS8245 disc drive replacement are used. Is this correct? Further articles look very good and what a nice Philips monitors!

Thanx again Smile

- Sanyo Wavy changed to 230 Volt

That's all that is needed? Just the fuse and the big capacitor?
Wouldn't be a problem if the primary transformed insulation is not rated for 230v?

And why you put a smaller capacitor (47uF) in place of the 330uF?

great articles, good informative photos.

2 tips:

describe/order the articles differently:

use some standard name system: brand/ model/ fix (e.g. Philips NMS 8220: 128 kB RAM)
and order by brand (/ model) for better overview.

(tip 2: looking with my web-developer glasses on Cool : stop using frontpage, try Microsoft Visual Web Developer; it generates better, cross-browser, code that complies to the international webstandards)
