Sunrise CF , can it "play" all the games (carts,disks,etc) ?

Hello, I read about Sunrise Cf cart adapter
it doesnt seem "too" complicated to use
but I dont know a lot
Can it play all game roms ? from carts? disks?
without too much manipulations....

Being a console gamers, I am not a specialist of computer and file manipulations
but I have a SD to IDE for atari 800 computers
so I am not a total newbie

if you think of something than the Sunrise one that could be more useful, please mention

yes and no , depend of your MSX with a Turbo-R you can play megarom with MEGAMU and DSK with HDDEMU

with a MSX2 or 2+ is not easy for playing all : choice RUNIT for DSK and a SRAM SCC or ASCII for playing megarom

for playing rom files (16k or 32k) is easy with ODO

I don't think "all", but it does work with a huge amount of games.
I don't have one anymore, but I had quite satisfying results with it.

several reasons... it didn't have to do with the quality of the sunrise product.
simply put, I started to prefer to use emulators. Even if they're not the real thing, they got to a level of accuracy that is high enough for me.

a 8235 is ok, but make sure you have enough RAM. The standard 128kb is a weak amount for a Sunrise CF.... you should have 256kb or more, and preferrably 512kb or more.
Somewhere between 512kb and 2MB is optimal, probably (amounts larger than 3MB cause compatibility issues)

I ran a Sunrise CF quite well on a 64k MSX1, there was some DOS2 issues though. I used the CF with a 8245 for sometime before i purchased a TurboR

playing disk image games from CF is very hard without disk emulator tools.
there are some threads about this already.
I can sell you one of my disk emulator SD cart if you like: http://members.quicknet.nl/evanson

However the CF is a great item to work with but is hard to use with a lot of games. If you really want to play games get:
a) mega flash rom from Manuel Pazos, so you can play all carts up to 512K and you have SCC chips also
b) get either a megascsi or SD interface (of me) so you can play all disk images very easy
This is the best setup for playing games in my opinion

If people want to compare one should notice that for sd-interface lovers that leonardo padial has to mentioned as well.
Fair to me. I have except the padial interface-which I want also(collector you know)
The best solution is the megascsi with various tools for all(rom,dsk etc) , our CF except for the sector loaded stuff has no problems of playing games. Note that this not only depending on the interface in general but also how games have been hacked -more ram needed, but search for slots etc. SD of erikie , very good but you will run out of space within notime
And the Padial interfaceI cannot judge unfortunately, but is most unpleasant as it has no case at all

On cartridge games it does not matter what kind of disk system you have...
If you have MSX tR you can always use rMSX to play disk games, but if you have MSX2 CF interface is not the best option. CF interface supports only MSX-DOS2 and that may cause trouble. For MSX2 MEGA-SCSI or SD interface might be better.
