Would it be possible to have some sort of MSX-compatible internetsites? Sites that can be browsed on your MSX via DenYonet?
Yes, it is possible. We just need someone making simplified versions of the sites, and someone (else) developing a web browser for MSX.

And NO, don't look at me for any of the two. Smile

A place where you can download playable demo's of new games and start playing right away. Some kind of online Compile Discstation so to say.

Sorry, just daydreaming but if someone is up to the challenge I can help with graphics and music. LOL!

I have been thinking about a webservice, and a client in msx.

You can download demos, updates, and a big repository of software.

For example you start with only msx-dos and a llitle program and this program install all the utilities you need, included msx-dos 2, etc.

Probably you are going to use cassette/printer/joystick port to emulate an Ethernet device on MSX ?

... maybe it would be that you can use your PC as a SAN .. so that you have a hardrive on your MSX but it's not realy a hardrive on your MSX but it's located as an images on your PC... That is also cool Wink

Maybe someone could get UZIX source and adapt Fudebrowzer?
Although it needs a server to process the pages, it is the best solution so far...

For those who doesn't know what UZIX is, or Fudebrowzer, here are some screenshots:

Edit: ouch - just saw Fudebrowzer source isnt available :(

I justed want to test it in BlueMSX , just downloaded the software and connected the rom as a cardrige. Everthing is working fine .. but is it possible to connect your msx to your local netwerk using BlueMSX ?How do you say to the emulator use the network card... or something like that.. I see there is an option in blueMSx but i can't select a outbound network card overhere.
