Fony gets old, Futuredisk 42

I was just wondering, since Future Disk is no longer being published, did it get freeware ? I mean, there are any place where we could get old issues so people who didn't know about it can see what was FD ?
No, the magazines FutureDisk released aren't freeware.

I see. Well, will they be freeware in the future ? It's too bad that a great work like this is not available for new and old MSX users to see. It would be great if those guys behind FD were still making and selling new editions, but since that won't happen, at least people could enjoy what was done. Anyway, it's their decision, they should do whatever they think it is right.

On that note: What ever happened to Jeroen Smael and Koen Dols?

Jeroen Smael is living happily in the deep south of the Netherlands with his wife and child(ren?).
Koen... unfortunately, I dunno. Haven't heard from him since 2002.
Some say that he is living in the middle of the Netherlands and has quit the MSX scene.
Others (evil people) claim that he is living on an island in the Pacific bought from the revenues of the FutureDisk

I will check how much of the source code is still left and how much work it will take to finish a final version. Probably Arvee needs to have a go at the GFX (because TRASH had an off-day) and AFAIK I never ever received the SouthPark music that I needed with it.

Are Fony Disks in English or in Dutch?I think you mean Future Disk? It bi-lingual, English and Dutch. Though it was English most of the time anyway.
