Freeware'd be nicer, but it's their cue.
The only ones who'd be buying such a CD would be people who already knew about FD in the past. With it being freeware, it's more likely to spread to people who didn't know about it yet, and it'd be easier to acquire for the current MSX community as well (download-click is simply easier than ordering anything).
Nah, it's only good that this one was preserved. The more I see the name FONY, the better
That's indeed a very good reason !

It was more or less declared freeware... at least internally. I was talking with Koen about submitting all the disk-images to MRC, and we pretty much decided we were going to do that. He was going to submit the images himself, since he had slightly newer versions than I did, but, well, I guess he never did. I would submit the images myself, but I don't know if I would be overstepping my authority there, since it's not really *my* product either. I know Koen agreed with it, how about the other co-authors? Should I just go ahead and submit them? I have ftp-access anyhoo, beats sending a 30MB email...
Sonic : can you send me an e-mail (I don't find again your e-mail address) ? I need your advice and I can help you for most of the DSK files (only 3 or 4 files are missing in my collection)
Try sending a mail to 'sonic' on this domain. Mind you, I do have all the disk images, I just remember Koen saying something about patches having been made later for a few issues. We were also working on a nice nostalgia site (where the images would be hosted as well), for which Mr. Smael already did a lot of work, but I guess that'll prolly still take a while.
I've just sent you an e-mail on the msx.org domain !
Well Sonic, I think it is quite simple. The board of the registered Future Disk was in my opinion. Pat Smeets, Koen as well as Theo.
So if Koen has agreed ,you need the permission of Pat to gain a majority decision of the former Future disk group.
So ask Pat, best is to have an email in which koen and Pat confirm the appointment
Theo? Who the fuck is Theo? In all my days at the FD crew (from FD#10 till the end) I never heard of anyone called Theo. I think you mean Jeroen...
Anyways, I guess most of the crew still sees Koen as 'the boss', so if he agrees with putting the disk magazines online, I'm all for it. I have no objections to make them available anyways.
Sorry my mistake Jorito. But the issue isnot of is the seen as the boss, but simply how was it futuredisk registered at the chamber of commerce.
Three prersons registered as a board mean three votes and if there is an equal number 4 or more the president decides.
Mrc and Sunrise have e.g. three people each that make the decisions and so it works by majority.
aI simply say thus if Sonic has heard the opinion of Koen and you ask Pat or Jeroen one extra vote makes it already possible,
that''s the way.
