Game specific question:

In M-Kai's Kyokugen there's a shooting test. It's a counter which counts the number of bashes on the B-button of your joypad (or the SHIFT key of your keyboard). What is the practically maximum # of shots you can fire there?

Are there any among you who actually //have// the game? Otherwise the Q would be quite pointless

Ha well... As all of you should know (Kyokugen, great game! ) the shooting test is inside the main menu of the game. Go there, and bash some good key

Hint: You've got ten seconds to demolish your B-button in order to achieve a high 'score' (which isn't really a score, but merely, as stated, a test ).

Let me ask my Q another way: what score is 'feasible', considering you've got a Joystick/Joypad with RenSha controller?

Well, if you've got exactly 10 seconds, logic would suggest the maximum is either:

A) whatever the CPU can possibly do if the routines are not on the VDP interrupt
B) the routines are on the interrupt and the maximum is 10 x 60 = 600
C) the routines check both ON and OFF state on the interrupt thus 10 x 60 / 2 = 300

So I'll go with answer C, the maximum score would be 300...
