Tatung Einstein 256 is supposed to have a v9938 like MSX2, and is v.rare but is on ebay!

Yes I have a collection of schematic and software for the Tatung Einstein 256.
There is also an emulator for it.

It has the tms 9929 on board as in the the schematics and 16kb Vram

As its name suggests, Einstein 256 has 256K of RAM. Many computers that give you lots of memory don't really give the user any substantial benefits. This is not the case with Einstein 256. The memory is partitioned into 64K of CPU memory, and 192K of video RAM (VRAM).

* Display Resolution : 512 x 424 pixels max (512 x 192 pixels from EBASIC)

* Sprites 32 total, 8 per line - multi coloured

* 512 colours

Nice! And in this case that did really translated into good games?

If it really has 192KB of VRAM, this is one of the few machines that had this natively. I wonder how its games used it.
