You can't save on a DSK installed in the flashROM. You can duplicate disk 2 in a floppy and then select it pressing "0" when asked to insert disk 2 for saving.

What about the SD card? Or is just used to read files from it to FlashROM?

How can Metal Gear 2 be saved on a virtual .dsk on the SD card in the Flashrom ? Metal Gear 2 is flashed as rom . Would it be possible to load it on the sd - card as a virtual savedisk instead of loading it in the Flashrom ?

Is it possible to Flash Gamemaster 1 or 2, and Vampire Killer to the MFRSD ??
Or is there a way to flash it to the MFR without SD, but with the sound fix for the nsm8280 ??

It seems that: 'opfx gamemas2.rom /b0' 'opfx vampirek.rom /b1 /p' don't give audio,,
I'm trying to play Vampire Killer with Game master,, I have a MFR-SCC+8mb and the new MFR-SCC 1xSD and a nsm8280..

And a Second Question, It seems I can't disable topic/email notification by clicking on the link in the mail
I'm still getting 'notification' mails, and I prefer to follow it by my self...

Is Nextor the right OS to use at the moment with the Mega Flash ROM SCC+ SD while it's still beta version??

The reason why I ask this question is because the more and more I work with my Mega Flash ROM SCC+ SD and Nextor, the more and more I get the impresion the Nextor "native support for FAT16" doesn't work that well...

I get problems with my cards*; errors reading sectors etc. init errors. It looks as if my FAT is messed up by Nextor instead of 'controlled'.

* Problems rise while copying large numbers of files (using XCOPY.COM). Reading/writing. Message: drive not ready etc. Or is XCOPY the problem? Or maybe Nextor's 'swap' function MAPDRV?

Hmmm, gonna try to use the cheat option in blue msx to work,, I think gamemaster doesn't cheat that much..

For nms82xx users. I have adapted the audio upgrade for the SCC+ SD. Which means you are able to use the cartridge in conjuction with any other audio cartridge. The upgrade is very small so anyone can easy apply the fix if he/she can read electric diagrams/schematics.

I just need some help in uploading the new schematic here.

I have allready tested the adaption and the summation amplifier is holding well. SCC sounds slightly louder but it could be caused by many other factors as well or I am being subjective. Again this extra audio input is also not decoupled as in the original design but I am pretty sure FMPAK allready properly decouples the audio signals but I am not sure if the megasflashrom does this as well. It doesn't really matter anyway since it works.

I don't fully understand what you want.
If you want to load it as virtual disk, then load using OPFXSD SOLIDE12.DSK /D1
If you want to save to a disk when playing from ROM, just install the game with OPFXSD MGEAR2.ROM and the computer floppy drive will be used for loading and saving.
If you want to save/load to SD card when playing the ROM file, I think it is not possible.

IT is not possible because the new MFRSD doesn't have the subslot simulation. Its subslots are used for the different parts of the cartridge (SD reader, MegaFlashROM SCC+ and recovery)

I'm not sure. Have you tried to use the /P option on both ROMs?
opfx gamemas2.rom /b0 /p
opfx vampirek.rom /b1 /p

AFAIK, Nextor FAT16 works fine, but of course, could be bugs in Nextor or SD driver.
I know Nextor copied large amount of files from CF to SD without problem using MultiMente.
I also copied lots of files and folders from SD1 to SD2 without problem (also using MM)
Try to use MultiMente and check if you have the same problems.

If you get the same problems, then try to use 2GB instead of 4GB partitions.
