Has anyone tried to link the SCSI drive to a PC/MAC to share partitions ? It's mentionned that it should work in the doc, I might give it a try (as I still have not received my NoWind interface ). I think I'll need some SCSI cards, cables, adaptors, terminators and stuff but that would be indeed be great for dev !
Isn't there an alias available to replace all those bat files?
MSX-DOS2.4x has it, but somehow I think it's full potential has never been explored by the masses.
I use batch files to launch them from SofaRun in order to "swap" partitions (with the same "disk1.bat", "disk2.bat" at the root of each partition), but this is a bit slow. I was thinking about integrating the "map.com" code in SofaRun and have special "partition" entries displayed in the browser, but this is a bit edge-case (and hardware-specific).
I was thinking about using Okei's FAT16 patch on Gouda ? Having a first FAT12 partition to boot it (and install the patch), and a 2nd huge FAT16 partition. That might work.
Problem is to create the 2nd FAT16 partition (should be done or PC or with sector editor as there's no Gouda fdisk for FAT16).
Does anyone have managed to run the Novaxis on MSX2 Panasonic ?
I can't on my FS-A1.
Perhaps it assumes 128kB RAM? Try on emulator...
I tried with a Memory Mapper 1024KB. Same result on BlueMSX.
@gdx: Novaxis doesn't have an internal dos2. Without it it doesn't work.
Oups ! You are right.
Remains to fix the problem of the DEL key.
