Funny how no-one complains about 'gamestats' now.
I doubt that it's a script, since there is 13 seconds between both requests. Even on a MSX1 with Gr8net the requests will be faster when scripted
I also see a lot of atypically traffic on my server, but have my countermeasures in place.
That's a functionality of Wget: mirroring / recursive retrieval, no script needed.

Aha.. Didn't know that My bad...
Doesn't it support the function to download included content like Java(script), etc?
What do you mean by 'included contact' ?

Aarrgghh.. I really need to check what I type on my phone (or what the software corrects it to). I mean included content, like java(script), videos/roms/etc... Wget only seems to dowload things with a href tag.
You can instruct it to download 'page requisites' as well (images, CSS, JS, ...) (seems like your downloader did that as well).
Embedded content like videos is a different story. I do believe it can process video & audio tags nowadays.
It won't (by itself) download stuff like embedded YT videos.
A the ripping website subject. Main reason why I have the downloads behind a timer on the website.
Some people hate the timer and the possible ad showing up, I've choosen for this option, since the website has over 1,5Gb of downloads in it's repository, got sick of these leechers which made the bandwidth usage spike, had a few months 35-40GB of bandwidth was used, so I moved on taking countermeasures, since banning just an IP address is not an solution.

I can understand that completely. Did the same in the past. Tried ways to keep leechers away.
With this version of the site, I decided I didn't want to fight that battle anymore and put up a link with the complete site as a downloadable .zip. Acoording to the stats, it was downloaded about 35 times last month, so...
Understandable, but like I said, it also depends on the size of the website. People forget about the resources being used, got now for example Let's Encrypt as a 'free' option for SSL, so there is an actual secure connection. Downside of this is, incompability with older browsers. Received reports of blank pages and such. Enhacing the visitor's experience comes down with a price and sacrifices have to be made from time to time.
