About the cursors key, I think that noboby read our answers.
Hello ArcadeVision, if the game is not going to support the cursors, I would appreciate my money back. I´m not going to play with OPQA or joystick. In MSX the use of cursors is essential. If you were an MSX user, you would understand, but you don't want to understand. I'm sorry (And of course I'm reading your answers).
Best, use joystick for all action games, you was lucky to have a computer with that.
Please, don't tell us how we must to play.
THE FINAL GAME WILL SUPPORT THE CURSORS KEYS

As one of the moderators here, I would like to remind all people to be respectful to each other and to avoid actions that could lead to conflicts. Thanks.
Great news ArcadeVision for include cursors keys on game, thank you very much.

Hello ArcadeVision,
Someone deleted your previous message to me, I'm don't know if you or a moderator, but I arrived in time to read it.
I'm sorry because I understood that the final game was not going to support cursors.
You told me (in the deleted message) that from the beginning I was searching problems with you. I would like that you quote my words for everybody because thats the second time I enter in this thread, and the first was in page 5 for reserve the game.
I ask back my money thinking the game not support cursors, but if the final game it´s going to support it, I don't understand two things:
- Why are you angry with me for want the money back in case the game don´t support cursors.
- Why are you refunt me the money so fast if the game support cursors
Hello,
I'm the Risky Rick game designer.
I would like to remember that we (with fano) have produced this demo version on our spare-time to have fun and definitively not to cause problems. We apologise about the fact that demo was not as expected for some of you.
I have personally asked to remove it from file-hunter.com to no more cause troubles. Thank you to peoples giving us constructive feedbacks. We will continue to beta-test the game up to end of November and to improve it up to its release date on December.
In January, we will open a new thread about users feedbacks to improve the compatibility with all the different MSX to be sure that everybody will be able to have fun with the final game cartridge.
Thank you.
Be sure that the MSX community warmly thanks you for this effort. The"Rick Dangerous" conversion (as is, please, no other port has changed its playability or game mechanics!) is a great initiative and for sure a big event this year!
You're doing great guys!
@sd_snatcher: do you have some optimized joymega routines?, I remember programming a BASIC driver some time ago but it ended up a bit messed code (although it worked fine )
Upon request of the programmers, I have just removed the Risky Rick Demo from File-Hunter.com. I've also just read the MSXDEV'20 thread.
OMG...
the truth is that the OPQA, would not have made me ask for the return, but I was glad to read that if we can play with the cursors, thank you very much ARCADEVISION

I second that! It's a very welcome port.

Yes, you can download the whole HIDlib here. It uses IFDEFs, so only the functions you actually use will be compiled. This way you don't have to worry that a huge library would waste space in your software.
The source code of HIDtest is also supplied as an example, but be sure to read the included README.TXT and doc/* files.
