I am implementing KernelCrashes FDD and Cartridge emulator with his assistance. I am testing his design and whilst I can get it to work on Sonyo MSX1, I can't get it to work on my panasonic MSX2 Fs-A1.
My Panasonic works with all my home made carts so I don't believe it is a hardware issue in the unit. It boots with the emulator, but goes into the desktop. If i hold the del key during boot, it goes into basic.
The emulator runs a rom image by default that displays a menu, and this boots fine on my Sanyo MSX1, but never comes up on the Pana FS-a1.
I am chasing the revised firmware for the Panasonic FS-a1 to see if this fixes the problem, but the links seem invalid.
