Maybe this article in the wiki can help you. The setup is simple. You format the partition with CALL FDISK under BASIC. You copy the files with your PC to the SD card. To edit the configuration files and batch files on PC/Mac/Linux you must use a text editor that can save with the coding text DOS ainsi / Western Latin / DOS Latin 1 otherwise, the directory paths may be damaged for example.

of course it would be good. he is doing projects for the ZX Spectrum. to ZX has a picture of SD cards. I can not say to MSX.

I was thinking about including NEXTOR.SYS, COMMAND2.COM and a simple AUTOEXEC.BAT inside the ZIP distribution package (with SofaRun inside an SR subdirectory)... Maybe in the next release.

Yes. NEXTOR.SYS by Konamiman and COMMAND2.COM 2.4 by TNI are not my properties, I can't distribute them without at least asking. NEXTOR.SYS and COMMAND2.COM are still developped by active MSX users, that's why you usually do not find them in a single package.

sofarun works
I see folders and files
I am looking for a method to start games from the card
I mark file / start .... and nothing
either goes back to the menu or a blue screen

Hi Kacper,

Please update to the latest version of SofaRun from my website (the last one was buggy !).

Then, if it still does not work, tell us which game you are starting (.DSK or .ROM), and if a message is displayed.

Of course, you have to copy your games on the SDCard. You can even copy .ZIP files containing .ROM or .DSK files, SofaRUn knows how to open them.

I'm sure you're close to running your first game on MSX!

Hi Louthrax.
thank you for your support
I was able to run the ROM file
and one DSK. for now I have a CAS problem.
when I want to run CAS, the computer returns to the start screen
and again I have to run sofarun through A: \> sr
why after restarting sofarun I do not see folder A: \ only the last running software?
I have to do go back, go back to the A: \ games folder
my sofarun is v4.1

Thanks for reporting the problem with .CAS files. That should be fixed, please re-download.

SofaRun goes back to the last game started because most of the time you relaunch the last game you played (I like it this way).
