Hello

I have a SV-2000 Robotarm. It is beautiful. Unfortunately I don't have the cables that connect the MSX cartridge to the robot. They look like joystick plugs on each side, and you can plug a joystick into the robot to control it.

I understand a joystick plug is a DB9 plug. And a null modem cable looks like a cable with two female DB9 plugs on. So can I just get a null modem cable do you think?

Thanks!

I'm not sure, but I THINK (this is not verified) that the cable is straight cable (pins 1-9 go to pins 1-9 in same order), so null modem cable most probably will not work for this purpose. It is not straight and it may be that not all pins are connected at all. If you get DTE-DCE cable (instead of DTE-DTE "null modem cable") and gender changer then you may get lucky.
