I have a problem with .DSK files: They just don't work...
My old setup had no problems but with 7.00 I just get the screen with:

SOFARUNIT 2.1 (c) ......
[1] name.dsk R 720KB
[2] A:\SAVES\name.usr W 0KB

and it stays like that.
Setup: A1WX + C2 - Old SR dir erased and replaced by new SR 7.0.

Hi Pentarou,

Looks like you're stuck in the function that calibrates the waiting time for joysticks (your MSX seems to have interrupts disabled in this case).

I've promoted a fix attempt, just re-download and let me know if that improves things !

@Louthrax: what an awesome release! But I do have a bug report, or at least a question.

I just downloaded SR 7.0 and gave it a spin with some SG-1000 and SMS games. I have a PlaySoniq in a vanilla A1ST.

Unfortunately, SSMS.com doesn't work with either .sg nor .sms files. They all fail with "Not enough segments available". The last stdout line says "Segments available: 5"

Mem.com says I have 80kB free in Slot 3-0, and the TPA size is 54kB. I don't have anything special in my autoexec.bat. And normal MSX games work fine.

Do I need to do anything special to get SSMS to work? Do I need more than 256kB of main memory?

I don't know if it's related, but I also get memory issues with vgmplay. When I want to play the intro to MG2, the vgz file (approx 50kb) is too big, not enough memory.... I have a GT with 1mb internal memory though...

Hi Max,

80KB of free memory is indeed not enough to launch SG1000 or SMS games in most cases, but your Playsoniq should have 12MB of RAM available. Do you see it when you type "MEMORY" in Nextor ?

Also, is your Playsoniq in a slot expander or in a normal slot ?
