I have a NMS 8245 in combination with the MegaRomFlash Cartridge, and al the games are on the sd-card.
But...i want to go back to the old fashion way, to play the games from the 3.5" discs.
Back in the late 80's i had almost every game on disc, and everything worked great, every disc had a autoexec.bas file, custum made, with the games on it.

So.. i want to go back, and copy the games back to the discs, and play them that way.
How do i copy e.g. rom files to my floppy's, are there .LDR files to find on de www or autoexec.bas files that i can edit ?

I can remeber that some games had to use some pokes and more

Your best bet is to source already hacked rom files. A rom file with an ldr or bas file will not do it.

I know. I can remeber that the megaroms were 6 OR more files, with one ldr file

I don't think those versions of games are around that much anymore since running a dump of the original is way easier right now. Many of the disk hack versions of roms were poorly hacked and could crash or leave your diskdrive spinning forever.
I understand your nostalgia, but unless anyone around here still has his old disks and is willing to share the content with you, you're left with just rom files... You're better off that way I think.

Most of the information you need to convert ROMs to BLOADable bins is in those threads:

https://www.msx.org/forum/msx-talk/software/bugs-on-a-rom-to...

https://www.msx.org/forum/msx-talk/software/converting-msx-r...

And unless you want to manually load each single game via keyboard, here's a nice menu you can put on autoexec.bas to choose which game to start:

https://www.msx.org/forum/msx-talk/software/multi-boot

There are several very well done conversions of megarom games to BINs, you can google around for cax's Self-extracting MSX MegaROM games which work flawlessly.

Other bigger games already come on disks, so you just have to image them to a floppy.

This should hopefully cover it all.

And using a ROM loader from disk? LOADROM, EXECROM, ROMLOAD etc.
(for the smaller ROM's)

If you were asking me: no, I'm just making my own conversions when possible.

The cracked ROM games won't work as well as the ROM files run via the flash cartridge. So, yeah, nostalgia, but the games will usually not be as good as the other way (missing sound, slower, more RAM needed).

For disk games, you can just run them as in the old days of course.

I use a disk manager to confert .dsk to real floppy. If you like i can email you disks already .bin and bas autoexec.bas menu e.c. files. You can put is straight on a msx formatted floppy, if you have a usb floppy drive. Greatings andre
