Hi ro, thanks. Certainly no intention to escalate things (or say start a debate), I think I've said what I wanted to say, and np to leave it with that.
(And to be clear: I'd rather be discussing 8-bit / fun stuff as well )
Meanwhile, hurray Max won!
Let's see how the juries decide. Not the type of ending I'd like to hear about...
Fortunately you are not the only one, because i do

It’s been the opposite way plenty of times too. Safety cars and strategy can be and have been the deciding factor in many races.
In the end Max still had to pass Hamilton in that last lap, and tire strategy and skill allowed him to do it. Mercedes chose not to pit and continued on old tires for a long time which gave them a lead but played against them in the end. Hamilton also thought during the race that it was a risky strategy. When Pérez was against Hamilton on old tires he was able to defend for a couple of laps, Hamilton didn’t succeed in that against Max which cost him the race.
The FIA already ruled against Mercedes’ protests, it would be graceful of Mercedes to accept their loss. They’ve dominated for long enough.
Yeah, I agree, the protest was bad enough (especially the one trying to put blame on Max), if they continue this it just makes them look worse.
