Yeah, I was thinking about a Real-time strategy (RTS) game where you have a large spaceship for mining asteroids in the asteroid belt and you also have to use your raw materials to create/repair mining equipment like mining drones, defense, etc. and of cause rivaling companies try to destroy or cripple you so they can get the resources for themselves.
Don't know any more details than that, but as far as I know I hasn't been done yet and could be a lot of fun to play.
So please don't steal my idea, unless you plan to make the game so good that I don't care and just want to play it. :-)

If you are enthousiastic about it, I would like to encourage you to work this idea out more on paper and let us know more about the gameplay and the goal of the game.

I think my greatest challenge now is that I've been working for quite a long time on an new framework in assembler that introduces true Object Oriented programming in assembler. This is what I'd like to use for most of my future projects. I'm just about 70% there I think.

Lot's of small things and ideas that I think will work, but It's difficult to give details without giving away the elements of surprise. You'll just have to wait with the rest I guess.
But I do set my standards high. I look mostly at C64, Amstrad and Amiga demo's for inspiration and want to release something at least as interesting as those. I hope I can deliver. See "Best demos" thread.

Seems pretty like Millennium 2.2 and Deuteros, games that I played and loved on my Amiga... I'll be one of your fans. And I'll buy it!
