Too bad no SMS games used that PSG + FM combination, it’s really powerful.
Combining PSG and FM really adds a lot to music I think. We all know how good the Micro Cabin games sound. I also really love a lot of the Sharp X1 Turbo music, which combines YM2151 OPM with the AY3 PSG. Yamaha must’ve realised this too, since the OPN series also has a PSG built-in together with the FM part.
Too bad there are few FM trackers for MSX which have PSG support, not much scene music for this combo due to that unfortunately. ANMA games do though, and you can hear it! Let’s hope Trilo Tracker FM will be released someday soon.
