Stand-alone RS-232C interfaces
Most external RS-232C interfaces come with a ROM containing RS-232C BIOS and additional MSX-BASIC instructions. The interfaces without the specific RS-232C BASIC ROM will not work with all serial applications. All interfaces with BIOS 1.0 or without BIOS are only I/O based.
