Seikosha or Epson as they have typically been called since the mid-80's, is known as one of the largest printer manufacturers. They produced a few printers with support for the MSX character set for the Japanese market. In addition, Philips sold their printers in Europe under its own brand.
Note: Before merging with Epson in 1985, the Seiko company was named as Seikosha.
