Description
Computer
The CF-3300 is a home computer produced by the Japanese corporation Matsushita Denki and released in early summer 1985 in Japan.
It has the same look as the CF-3000 as it consists out of a single case with a separate keyboard with numeric keypad. Like its brother, this model is available in silver color.
However, it has a built-in disk drive and a special connector allows to add an external second disk drive. It was also the first computer to ship with MSX-DOS 1.
The MSX1 product line from National was called "King-Kong".

Software
A floppy disk is provided with this computer. It includes MSX-DOS 1 and some other programs.
The software menu has 5 options:
- 1 - Space Shuttle demo in MSX-BASIC with PSG effects and music
- 2 - Art 32 (graphic editor in MSX-BASIC - a touchpad is required)
- 3 - MSX Baseball game
- 4 - Home Calc (spreadsheet)
- 5 - Disk BASIC
To run MSX-DOS, you need to choose option 5 and enter CALL SYSTEM - You can also boot the computer while pressing CTRL+STOP to access directly the MSX-DOS command line, but in this case, the second (logical or physical) drive will be disabled.
Note: The provided floppy disk is 1DD (360kB), but the drive of the CF-3300 computer supports also 2DD floppy disks (720kB).

The CF-3000 is a MSX1 with a Z80A from NEC (D780C-1) and without MSX-Engine. The floppy disk controller is the MB8877A from Fujitsu Microelectronics.
The superimpose unit (CF-2601) is optional.
