The Sanyo MPC-5, a.k.a Wavy5, is a very simple computer: it has only 16kB RAM and 2 cartridge slots. There is no printer port, and it also does not have the Sanyo expansion bus like some other models. It was aimed at the Japanese market. The power supply is internal.

This machine has been localised for the European market - see PHC-28L, PHC-28P (GE), PHC-28P (SP) and PHC-28S.
