Description

The Yamaha SMD-01 Midi Unit is a 'pure' MIDI interface without SFG sound chip. It is build around the Yamaha YM2148 and i8253-5 chips.

It comes with only MIDI connectors, but they are 3 instead of 2 (MIDI-In, MIDi-Out, MIDI-Thru). There's no music keyboard connector, audio connector or SFG software on this module.
